    • I wrote this piece thinking of my respected teacher, Dr. Peter Sadlo (1962-2016), the well-known percussionist in Germany, who gave me musical passion in my life. Needless to say, he was a great musician and a warm, wonderful person. He also had extraordinary energy and a charming personality, so I put all of that into this piece and I composed it like I was writing a letter to him.

Based on the “Prelude” from the ‘Cello Suite No.1 by Johann Sebastian Bach, I wrote it as a gently flowing melody used as a counterpoint in the first half, and added a groove in the second half.
